With Spring in full bloom, Kitenga Technologies today announced a comprehensive solution for both online content mining and mineral mining. According to CTO Mark Davis, "The combined solution, ZettaMineralVox, represents the first attempt to combine commercial mineral mining with online technologies to achieve economies of scale." The solution will be available in an enterprise and SaaS configuration, with add-ons for commercial blasting and hydraulic drilling systems. Once deployed, content mining pipelines can be used to create analytic dashboards combined with ground extraction technologies. "We hope to revolutionize the mining industry by bringing our expertise in big data problems to bear on big mineral problems," said Davis, while kicking at a small pile of rocks.
