ZettaVox: The Big Data Analytics Solution

Kitenga's ZettaVox is the next-generation multi-media (text, audio, imagery, biometric data and video) content mining and analytics solution built upon a rich user-centered environment for non-programming professionals to help them transform huge data resources into actionable knowledge.
 
ZettaVox is designed to help unlock the knowledge trapped in corporate and public/internet repositories and make it possible for business analysts, planners, and executives to make sense of it directly, with minimal intervention from data processing specialists and programmers.
 
ZettaVox combines ready-to-run content processing elements with a full-fledged (unstructured, semi-structured & structured) content mining/analytics solution that distributes processing over cloud and cluster-based computing assets by leveraging the open-source Hadoop framework. The entire process can be monitored, batched, and the results analyzed using sophisticated search, visualization, and analytics tools—all using a rich application running within a browser and based on Adobe Flex™, providing a richer user experience than most web-based applications.

Additionally, we are developing specialized components that will extend the reach of Hadoop to operate over commodity GPGPU (General Purpose Graphical Processing Unit) supercomputers to expand the reach of distributed computing from a few processing cores per racked server to hundreds and thousands of cores, all working seamlessly together to solve big data problems.
 
We currently have contracts with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Office of Naval Research, and US Army to enhance and deploy our solution in national security roles.

ZettaSearch: Combining Advanced Search with Analytics

ZettaSearch builds on the capabilities of ZettaVox to help professionals make sense of Big Data results through a rich search experience. ZettaSearch is a designer for creating engaging search user interfaces that are tied to faceted metadata providing "guided" search experiences with little or no programming. Building on Solr, the open source search engine, ZettaSearch provides a scalable environment for search applications, including the ability to shard and distribute search services.
